  • Marxolos are Open

  • They make chirping noises  

  • They are oviparous. Meaning they reproduce by laying eggs.

  • They have great hearing and sight underwater, but poor depth perception and blurry vision on land.

  •   While Marxolos can be on land, they can only stay for a couple of days before having breathing complications. It is necessary for Marxolos to maintain activity in salt water for proper ventilation.

  • Their average height is around 7ft tall from the tip of their ears to their toes.   ​

Meet Marxolos! A silly species that spend a majority of their days hunting food and laying on warm rocks.  They live in groups, with their strongest member being the group leader. (I will write more here later)

FAQ

  • How do they have 3rd eyelids?

    • While mostly used for protection, it is also used to keep the eye moist out of water and to help filter light.

  • What kind of teeth do they have?

    • They have very strong fangs for puncturing prey, and multiple sets of additional teeth for a process called polyphyodonty. Which allows them to constantly replace their worn or damaged teeth.

​Can they have wings or feathers?

    • No. These are purely marine creatures.
